Task Till Dawn 1.5 released

Task Till Dawn 1.5 is more or less just a bugfix release. Especially the serious bug, which caused the tasklist to be lost sometimes on Windows, should be fixed now.

Further changes are:

New features
Spanish translations added (thanks to Claudia Boehm)

Enhancements
The filechooser now opens centered on the screen (Windows).

Revamped toolbar on Windows.

Task Till Dawn now remembers whether the tasklist was maximized or not (Windows).

Changes
New application icon and toolbar icons.

Bugs fixed
"Last successful execution"-date was sometimes set, even when the task execution failed for some reason.

Fixed a nasty crash which occured sometimes when the help-menu was accessed on the Mac.

Fixed a bug which caused the menubar to flicker sometimes on the Mac.

Task Till Dawn seems very useful. However, one specific task that I would like to do is update all my podcasts (actually one of your use cases you use in your description). But I am unclear how to do this.

Do I choose iTunes as my app? But then how do I tell it I want to update the podcasts? Or do I need to write an AppleScript and have Task Till Dawn execute that or something?

Hello Joel,

you have to use an AppleScript. There are many useful scripts for iTunes at http://dougscripts.com/itunes/. Get the one you need (there is one for updating podcasts) and select it as your task. Task Till Dawn will then run the script, and the script will tell iTunes to update the podcasts.

Der Download funktioniert nicht!

Ich lande immer wieder auf http://www.oliver-matuschin.de/files/downloads/Task%20Till%20Dawn/TaskTillDawn1.5-win.zip aber es tut sich einfach nichts.

Feines Tool! Hätte noch zwei Vorschläge für Features:

1. Eine Funktion, die TaskTillDawn beendet, sobald alle Tasks, die sich derzeitig in einer Verzögerung befinden, gestartet wurden.
2. Tasks einmalig ausführen, dann deaktivieren (statt löschen)
